Several positions will be posted on the Chicago Botanic Gardens Employment Page in the coming weeks. These teams are funded by contracts with the Bureau of Land Management and make large seed collections of common species to be put into seed increase for restoration. The overall goal is to increase the supply of native, locally-adapted seed for restoration.
· St. George, UT – 1 Senior Botanist, 2 Field Technicians – 7 months starting Feb. 14th
· El Centro, CA – 1 Botanist, 1 Field Technician – 5 months starting Feb. 14th
· Grand Junction, CO – 1 Botanist, 1 Field Technician – 8 months starting February 28th
· Great Basin – 3 Botanists and 3 Field Technicians – 3 locations in ID, OR, and UT: (Marsing, ID; Hines or Vale, OR; and West Valley City, Richfield, or Cedar City, UT) – 5 months starting May 16th
· Susanville, CA – 1 Botanist, 1 Field Technician – 5 months starting June 6th
