NASSTEC Marie Curie ESR (Early Stage Researcher)

As a partner of NASSTEC,‘NAtive Seed Science, TEchnology and Conservation Initial Training Network’ project, funded by the 7th Framework Program (Marie Curie ITN),

SEMILLAS SILVESTRES ( is looking for 1 motivated graduates (Master degree or analogous)or PhD in environmental subjects for 1 positions to be placed in Córdoba (Spain).

They will focus their research activity on the following two specific projects:
ESR 2A: Selection of high-quality grasses for the Mediterranean and Continental bio-region. Specifically he will be responsible for the evaluation of field trials already under way, develop a crop guide and conduct trials on seed pretreatment. He/she will also have the opportunity to acquire knowledge in European seed biology by attending  network and training events throughout the term of the contract, including one research stay of one month of duration at the facilities of another project partner to be selected. The candidates will be in the early stage of their academic career having graduated recently they will not have carried out their main activity in Spain for more than 12 months in the last 3 years (excluding short temporary visits).

Salary: € 37,126.00 per annum + benefits
