The VI Brazilian Conference on Ecological Restoration – SOBRE2026 will be held from July 27 to 31, 2026, at the University of Brasília (UnB), bringing together researchers, restorers, public managers, companies, financiers, traditional peoples and communities from all over the country.

The Brazilian Conference on Ecological Restoration is a nationwide event, held every two years, with the objective of promoting the exchange of knowledge, experiences and innovations related to ecological restoration in Brazil. Organized by the Brazilian Society for Ecological Restoration (SOBRE), the conference has established itself as the main meeting space between different people and institutions that work in the research, planning, execution and financing of restoration.

With the theme "Ecological restoration: inclusion and climate justice", the conference proposes to expand the dialogue between science, practice and traditional knowledge, strengthening collective solutions to restore ecosystems, face the climate crisis and promote socio-environmental justice.
